Being A Student Sucks™

who needs food anyway? for some reason i can survive on 2 slices of bread per day for a few days on end...
then again, i don't weigh that much, lol

and yeah, not smoking surely helps, especially with those damned high prices in the UK...i thought i was being ripped off by OUR government, but YOURS is even worse

Well they've just put the price of a packet of 20 up by 8p in the Budget, so that will give the smokers more to whinge about. Personally I think they should just charge them for their medical treatment when they get a smoking related disease... see how they moan then. But I bet it would reduce the number of smokers significantly within a generation! Why I wouldn't be surprised if CO2 from smokers was a significant cause of Global Warming! :)

I've just been to Sainsbury's (supermarket) and felt so, so embarrassed.

And if that wasn't bad enough, I've got to work nights until at least Monday, cos we've got a visit from the CEO of Wal*Mart UK!

So as an employee of Wal*Mark UK (Asda) don' t you get staff discount. Surely you could have bought more food from there with your money? :confbang:

yeah but I couldn't be arsed to walk (yes, walk) back to work just to spend £2.25 and get... ooh! 22p off :laugh5:

I think Jon's copying all this down to write a book on the subject, he just wanted to warn us up front it's all being copyrighted.

It's not, it's trademarked. I guess he's the first person to have ever been a student and had it suck... :tardbang:

Or he's the first sucker that's been a student...

Or he's the first student that sucks?

Look at the positive side - at least you don't have kids to feed .... but you're right - being a student sucks ... I couldn't agree with you more ...

Here's something interesting: Ramen noodles (we call it "saimin" here) is a staple ... it's in every home ... snack ... quick dinner ... million ways to make them ... I love when it's on sale for 4 - 6 packs for a dollar :D

I bet the guy/girl who invented Ramen is swimming in dough now... Kind of ironic when you consider how piss poor one would have to be to think up dried noodles packaged in little plastic bags with packets of MSG as a marketable item.
