Bloomberg on the proposed Muslim community center

It's ok. The Klan has decided to erect a Baptist church in OKC, right next to the Oklahoma City National Memorial.

Nobody will mind.

For a minute I thought you were talking about the KKK Community Center for Tolerance of White Christian Democrats in Selma, Al. Complete with a big tree.

I'm sure they can do it legally.

My mistake, it looks like they're building it in Birmingham.

Exalted Grand Cyclops Bobby Frank “Roy” Royston, who helped found the Infinite Knights of the Ku Klux Klan following the September 15, 1963 attack on the church, said the project is intended to foster better relations between the “Negro community” and whites.

He said the cross-shaped glass-and-steel building would include a state-of the art digital exterior lighting system designed to create “the illusion of flame”. A swimming pool and a basketball court would also be included. “There’s nothing like it,” said Royston, adding that facilities will be open to all Alabamians.

More here
I'm certain everyone will be just fine with this.

and now Backup spin :lol2:

there was no question in the post I was referencing.

BTW, I guess people don't like to read posts after they've gotten behind.
It seems they also want to act like nothing happened when it doesn't support their belief.
Mr. B provided a link.

I'll look around for something that Might be satisfactory though.
I don't think I'll find a far left-wing point of view though that won't be skewed.

no worries.
I actually have a pretty decent hold on my emotions, I sometimes do a little acting though. :D
It was a bit embarrassing as I think this has not been the first time I've done that (bringing up a point someone else made because of carelessness). I don't mind reading the posts but when I start seeing the attacks I just move up and ignore it. It's tedious at best. I must have missed the post or posts that Spike made.

It's just a staple profile question going around.
Kinda like a poll.
I'll bet you don't find many that support Hamas on this board. Hamas has a violent history. Violence at any cost, including violence against those that they claim to be fighting for. I don't buy any of it. You can't help people by making their lives more miserable and that's what Hamas does.

They have a right to build a church if they buy the land. That's how it works. I would equate the KKK to Hamas, though, because of their violent and terrorist history. Now they want to be legit, just like Hamas. They're still terrorists to me. They can not reinvent themselves.

wow, nice spin on taking 'out of context' spin spin spinning. :D

You make up some crap and when I ask you to provide evidence ot at least esplain yourself you failed. But I'm spinning?

I realize you wish they were a plant.

Now imagine if the people bitching and whining about this community center actually cared about the 9/11 responders enough to hold the reps accountable for voting no on the bill that would have taken care of the health problems they developed from helping out.

But no, many of these same people made excuses for them.

nope, nobody here has claimed overtly to support them, and that's not impying
anything else except that I don't personally know everyone here.
