Once again supposedly intelligent people arguing a moot point.
Islam by its very nature is a set of beliefs wholly at odds with
western civilization and any form of democratic republic self
governance. But hey wtf who cares we are in a headlong race
to remake our country into a new Soviet Socialist Republic
so who cares about the Caliphate?

At least the CCCP had nukes pointed at us and could field
a credible conventional military force. A few truck bombs
exploding in your neighborhood occasionally would be minor
inconvenience unless one of them contained a nuclear weapon.

Looks like the crucial date for the fueling of the Iranian weapons
production reactor by the Russians will pass without any Israeli action.

The Hallowed Ground Near the 'Ground Zero Mosque'
Sarah Palin objects to the proposed Park51 community center—aka the "Ground Zero Mosque"—because the area around the former Twin Towers site is "hallowed ground." What else is on that "hallowed ground"? A strip club and McDonald's.

The mainstream criticism of the Park51 project—located about two blocks from the World Trade Center site—has been that it's "too close" to Ground Zero. This might be a valid objection, if the entire area had been closed off and turned into a shrine, and only buildings that were properly reverent to the memory of 9/11 were allowed, and everyone who worked in Lower Manhattan was in constant mourning.

But that's not the case. Blogger Daryl Lang, who works in the area, went out and took some photographs of buildings and locations that are the same distance from the World Trade Center site as the Park51 center will be. Among his findings? An Off Track Betting parlor, a Burger King, and a Vitamin Shoppe. (What better way to pay respect to the victims of 9/11 than to play the ponies and purchase some fish oil supplements?)

"Look at the photos," he writes.

This neighborhood is not hallowed. The people who live and work here are not obsessed with 9/11. The blocks around Ground Zero are like every other hard-working neighborhood in New York, where Muslims are just another thread of the city fabric.

Regardless there are plenty of nutcases in all religions that would like to speak for the whole religion but they don't.

No, it was the action of people who planned the attack in Mosques. It was and still is Mosque that are central in planning and participating in terrorist activity.

You can say you don't believe it and demand a link, but Its true and you know it.

If RM had anything at all indicating that a population twice the size of the US repects bin Laden that would be considered evidence as well.

I think Phelps is simply insane, incapable of understanding anything that others have to say.Focusing on only what he want to say, his message. Hell bent that his ideas are the only facts regardless of the truth. Phelps and Spike share these same cognitive traits.
