Bloomberg on the proposed Muslim community center

You have fantasies about getting in my butt?

I thought you might be one of the self hating types.

I really don't know what people are going on about. Do a search for "christian center, Manhattan" and you will see tons of Christian centers all over the place. What's the difference?

but but...this is Muslim! And everyone knows that Muslim's are evil, terrorist people and they make no effort at contradicting that view..except maybe by opening a community center open to all.

That Is the difference.

Despite what people want to make it, BinLaden has said we are at Holy War.
Christians don't get to say when it's over, as we didn't start it.

If Muslims want to get things right, they've gotta help take BinLaden out.
Until then, there will be no Normalized relations, if then.

", and that's just the way it is."

Search for Mosques in Manhattan. There are plenty.

It's the symbiology of the placement.

Who gives a shit what Bin Laden said. He doesn't speak for all muslims.

I

Most of them would probably love to see him taken out. It's not their responsibility though. That'd be like making you responsible for everything Fred Phelps says.

No, the way it is is that we have religious freedom in America.

No, the way it is is that we have religious freedom in America.

This is the biggest crock of shit argument going.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;

Practice away. Not one singl eperson is being denied the right to practice their religion. (which is, in & of itself, strange given the left anti-religious fervor) That does not give your church (in any version) the right to build where they chose. Zoning & neighborhood code has priority over that.

We're not talking about zoning. That's would be a bullshit argument. This is bias because of which religion is occupying the building.

"The government has no right whatsoever to deny that right – and if it were tried, the courts would almost certainly strike it down as a violation of the U.S. Constitution. Whatever you may think of the proposed mosque and community center, lost in the heat of the debate has been a basic question – should government attempt to deny private citizens the right to build a house of worship on private property based on their particular religion? That may happen in other countries, but we should never allow it to happen here. This nation was founded on the principle that the government must never choose between religions, or favor one over another."

No, he never spoke for all muslims. Like it or not.
Maybe not all, but I'd wager that Bin'Laden has the respect of a group TWICE the population of the United States.

The simple act of having call to prayer echoing thru the memorial FIVE times a day will bring more violence.

Bet on it.

No, he never spoke for all Muslims. Like it or not.

yeah, sure he did, and They still say that if any people call themselves
Muslim, and aren't down with it, they are infidels, not TRUE Muslims.

So I guess you are in the same boat with us.
