Must we start another thread?
It's called reading comprehension Gonz. Too bad you don't have any. Thanks for making my point for me though.

Don't feel badly, though. It was too much for Marx (Karl, not Groucho) to understand too.

Then why don't you explain it to us. Since I'm so clearly beneath your superior intellect & can't see what is so obvious, maybe you can help.

Sorry, Gonz. I can't. To you things mean what you say they mean, regardless of what they actually say (typically extreme right or left). The definitions you posted explain it quite clearly, but you don't think so. Why don't we drop it.

3 : a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

Wow, they're different? Let's examine the Webster differences...

1 a : a theory advocating elimination of private property b :
2 a : a system of society or group living in which there is no private property

Looks the same...

how about
a totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production
1 : any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods

...the collective(or commune if you'd prefer)

2 capitalized a : a doctrine based on revolutionary Marxian socialism and Marxism-Leninism that was the official ideology of the U.S.S.R.
3 : a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism

Holy shit, even the base theory comes from the same source.

One more
a system in which goods are owned in common and are available to all as needed
unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done
To the useless go the spoils.

I can refer you to a good comprehension teacher.

The simple short and long of it will always be, the poor want communism, and the rich want capitalism. And since the rich run the country until the poor revolt ....

But then you get a bunch of poor people trying to run a country, which never works. They find themselves with all this money, and suddenly realize that they're rich now. Then they try to be capitalists, while keeping up the appearance of communism for the sake of the poor. That's what we call corruption. That's why capitalist gov'ts all try out social programs, to make the poor feel like they're getting the best of both worlds.

True. Peaceniks don't vote, they consider it a waste of paper that kills hundreds of trees.
Excuse me? :bitchslap My roommate is a Quaker... I'm sure she'd be disappointed in your generalisation of the term "Peaceniks". Since she not only volunteered for the Democrat party, but votes in every election.

I think that war should be the very last resort... I suppose you can call me a Peacenik also... as opposed to a "War-monger". And, oh yes... I vote as well.
