'Constitutional crisis' looming over Obama's birth location

WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal judge on Thursday threw out a lawsuit questioning President Barack Obama's citizenship, lambasting the case as a waste of the court's time and suggesting the plaintiff's attorney may have to compensate the president's lawyer.

In an argument popular on the Internet and taken seriously practically nowhere else, Obama's critics argue he is ineligible to be president because he is not a "natural-born citizen" as the Constitution requires.

In response last summer, Obama's campaign posted his Hawaiian birth certificate on its Web site. But the lawsuit argues it is a fake and that Obama was actually born in his father's homeland of Kenya, even though Hawaiian officials have said the document is authentic.

"This case, if it were allowed to proceed, would deserve mention in one of those books that seek to prove that the law is foolish or that America has too many lawyers with not enough to do," U.S. District Judge James Robertson said in his written opinion.

The lawsuit didn't even use Obama's legal name but called him "Barry Soetoro," the name he went by while attending elementary school in Indonesia. It's one of many that has been filed claiming Obama is ineligible to serve as president.

Robertson ordered plaintiff's attorney John Hemenway of Colorado Springs, Colo., to show why he hasn't violated court rules barring frivolous and harassing cases and shouldn't have to pay Obama's attorney, Bob Bauer, for his time arguing that the case should be thrown out.

That's an idiotic blog. The only problem is the whackjobs like your blogger with their Obama Derangement Syndrome.

HAWAII [Roiders] - Federal and Hawaiian authorities have joined forces today in the search for little COLBEE who has been missing almost 10 months. COLBEE was last seen in Chicago in the company of her legal guardians.

The hundreds of thousands lending their support to help find little COLBEE has been nothing short of phenomenal. Last week, one of the local dairies decided to put a picture of COLBEE on their milk cartons.

However, since there were no usable photographs of young COLBEE, the BAU in Quantico sent one of their sketch artists to produce a picture of what COLBEE might look like:

COLBEE's distraught guardians recently appeared on non-network TV, and placed notices on the Internet, pleading for COLBEE's safe return. If you have any information regarding COLBEE, you can call the toll-free tip line at:

How appropriate is that -- Obama Derangement Syndrome -- or ODS (odious).

Sounds about right for the obamanation that he is.

With a wave of his majik wand he could allow Hawaii authorities to release his BC and make all this go away.

President Obama has been named in dozens of civil lawsuits alleging he is not eligible to be president, with one man even filing a criminal complaint alleging the commander-in-chief is a fraud, and now a citizen grand jury in Georgia has indicted the sitting president.

AP Confuses Criticism of Obama With 'Racial Slurs'

Proving that the left cannot tell the difference between "racism" and "criticism," the AP posted a lengthy March 30 story confusing and conflating the two as it pertains to attacks on President Obama.

The AP starts its piece by informing the reader that "racial slurs continue" against the president "despite" his "historic achievement." But the main problem with the piece is that much of the report details political attacks that aren't really racial in nature but are instead just those normal sorts of political attacks we see against any president. Granted they are tailored for Obama (like his citizenship and religion questions) but they aren't really "racial" attacks per se. Still, the AP illegitimately lumps any and all attacks against Obama under the rubric of "racial slurs."

well, i may have confused "bigot" with "people that prefer to associate with people that are just like themselves in every conceivable way."

or, wait... :errrr:

The funnier one was....

The differnce between God & Obama is, God doesn't think he's Obama.

That's kinda like...

The difference between God & Bush is, God doesn't think he talks to Bush.

But that one had an element of truth to it. truth is funnier than fiction sometimes.
