Too cute for words
I read about this in Time while waiting to get my hair cut today. Apparently, once again, evangelical missionaries have gone into Iraq following our troops, just like they did in Afghanistan. Don't these idiots realize that this is the main thing Islamics have against the west?

Had to put that last one in just for me. :D

Hey admins, I'm really not trying to start anything, just curious.

's ok, we got nothing against the subject, obviuosly future posts might change that ;)

Iragis don't deserve religion. All they do is murder each other anyway. We should kill them all before there are none left.... :retard:

Wait....what was the question?

The smartass in me soooo wanted to go with number one
....and as luck would have it, I didn't even have to get my hair cut to swing down to number 5.:trippin:

Im sure they would kill themselves before they would be converted to christianity.

when i first looked at this thread, i thought you wanted to convert us..lol

No controversy... humanitarian is the keyword...

(from Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)
humanitarian adjective, noun [C]
(a person who is) involved in or connected with improving people's lives and reducing suffering:
The prisoner has been released for humanitarian reasons.
The United Nations is sending humanitarian aid (= food and supplies to help people) to the areas worst affected by the conflict.
The well-known humanitarian, Joseph Rowntree, was concerned with the welfare of his employees.

humanitarianism noun

Nowhere do I see any mention of religion in that description. If they are going to start discriminating on the grounds of religion I suggest they change the title...

it also doesn't exclude religious organisations from providing humanitarian aid - they are just adding spin to the goods.

Yes thats because you they would then be infidels because according to some guy called Mohammed who invented Allah in approximately 700 AD you wount get into paradise. Also apparantly blowing yourself up and taking "Zionist Agressors" with you is a fast track to heaven....

[texas accent] whats that I smell, is thatk BULLSHIT? [/texas accent] :bs:

Let's convert them to Bokonism. The only religion that tells its followers that it's a lie.

The First Book of Bokonon.
Verse 1: All of the true things that I am about to tell you are shameless lies.

Tell that to the "Salvation Army" ... for them, the goods are the religion and the food, merely fringe benefits.

They're not the only ones that seem to do this tho' . The JAF asks for donations from only Jews and gives to only Jews.

There IS nothing new under the sun.

I think NO ONE should be forced to convert to ANY religion. Religion in general, is a sham.

i agree with the first statement that noone should be forced. i dot think religion is a sham just a set of beliefs that people share. but some people take advantage of said beliefs. thats teh sham. humanitarian aid shoulnt have strings it should be altruisic but they should learn about all religions not just one

It's a little older and a little more complicated than that. It was partly a reaction to expansionist christianity of the time. Somewhere I have a pretty good link to a history of the middle east. In any case, from my point of view, the whole Abrahamic shooting gallery started with a guy who heard voices. We have a name for that now.
