Could you?

Neither does Shrillary but people keep talking about it.

I used to believe that too, but I'm not so sure anymore. In America, if you keep saying it often enough, a lot of the sheeple will accept it as true. I hope she's still unelectable but a lot of wimmenz are going to vote for her just because she has a vagina.

Personally, I think they're going to draft Al since so many of the sheeple already accept the global warming (sorry, "climate change") deal as a state religion. Ready made platform. "Vote for me or we're all gonna die!"

Nothing would make me happier than seeing Al get the nomination. Nothing. He'd screw up a steel ball.

It makes no difference to the average citizen's well-being whether one or the other is in power and therefore there is functionally no difference.

You really don't think that we would be a far diifferent country had Barry Goldwater been in charge instead of FDR? (as an example)

3/4 of a century ago? :rofl4: You're not serious, are you? Thanks for making my point, no significant difference anymore. Look how far back you have to reach.

Perhaps the point is made by realizing that we've not had a leader with hardcore principles (save Reagan) since Truman. We're electing pandering nincompoops with no ethics & no beliefs (no wonder you're so interested). Mrs Bill Clinton is a hardcore socialist.

If anything in the past were changed, nobody knows what the ripple affect might be.
IMO there would be a difference. How much, and what, of that I'd have no idea.

IMO there are bigger differences with some now days than ever before, and
most of My life era. I do believe in the choices we've had, there would in deed
be probably little difference.

This time around, I'd consider us lucky if we make it to the next Election on time.
Our way of life is changing almost daily now, and I predict a Major change happening in the near future.

The lord your god Reagan didn't have any either. Kind of sad how many people worship him now given how little he actually did for the country. Shows how bad it's gotten IMO.

It's also sad how many people actually believe that a lack of spiritual belief by definition implies a lack of ethics despite overwhelming evidence that the exact opposite is actually true. Oh well, I suspect many of you will figure it out when it's far too late.

As you always say, they are the same it is the marketing that changes is all. But they are the same

Did I impy that somewhere?
As a matter of fact. Implied it too. ;)

As long as there is a "popular" vote, the only people who are electable are the shysters, con-men, thieves, and idiots. Comes with the terrotory. Its not about credentials. Its not about effectiveness. Its about them telling you what you want to hear.

Someday, chcr, you'll believe in something & then you'll understand. Maybe.
