Does anyone know anything about DivX?

If I'm not mistaken, the older versions of Divx still handled .wmv files, right?
 
I use Adobe Premiere 6.0.1 to just create a fresh AVI file in DivX 5 format.

The best settings for general videos are probably 400x300 with 22,050 kb/s audio. Thats seems about right for me.

i use about 720x288 with at least 112-128kbs audio and depending on video about 700kbs :cool: but i tend to use high or low motion divx, which varies depending on scenes, xvid has been great when doing dvd ripping, i am much more comfortable with divx 4.11 than 5.
