The vice president, after working at the White House on Monday morning, will head to South Dakota to spend several days at a private hunting lodge near Pierre. Lea Anne McBride, his press secretary, said it was an annual hunting outing and said Cheney spent Election Day in 2002 at the same lodge.

Either he's fighting with Bush and they are hoping someone will bump him off or they are trying to misdirect people away from him being on a secret mission to Iraq.Fox isn't the only one posting the itinerary which just leaves me going ,why...?

Everyone involved understands that his presence hurts rather than helps the candidates (even him). That's all it is. ;)
 
In an age where the media report our troop movements and battle plans before they occur, no I don't find it odd. I do find it irresponsible, but hey...
 
Monday is the last day...he needs a vacation. They usually get announced. Since he's not in his fortified bunker somewhere deep under Trenton, it's news.
