Egypt falling?

I hope Mooby will get started with the opposition talks. The MB won't deal with him, he needs to start discussions and thwart the MB who are hoping for that vacuum.

The protester are doing good keeping the MB out of it.

The pro-government forces are like the SEIU.

sounds like a good assessment to me.
At least I hope it is.

It's astounding at just how much effort is being put into the "there ain't no MB involved here"

If the MB gets into power they will beat the pyramids to dust with hammers.

it looks like the military is on the side of letting Mubarak ride his 'term' on out.

if the anti... protesters continue now, they are SOL, and it's going to be bad for um.

They should step back now and regroup, or 'group' as the case may be.
They aren't organized enough. It became apparent when they didn't produce a spokesperson for negotiations.

this is from twitter...
Maybe they'll get more organised.
SultanAlQassemi George Ishaq of Kefaya to BBC Arabic "We have given a list of wise-men to the youth to choose who can join them in negotiations"

many reports that foreign journalists are being chased, beaten, and kidnapped by the government officials, army, police...

NOW, this is an international problem for sure.

Re: When yer house neegro brings about the next 9-11

Nothing quells civil unrest like heavy weapons fire.
throw in several mortar barrages
for good measure.

I'd have them back in their hovels by nightfall

looks like so many people have been hurt, killed, or had family that has been,
or just missing, that the spirit is starting to be broken of the anti-mubarak
protesters.
Not to mention food and supplies running out fast.

I guess because my theory is different for most of the theories on the Conservative side on this one.

I think the MB has been paid off to say they are with the protesters,
when if fact they are with Mubarak.
The left and right in many cases have bought into it.
I think the left bought into it because it's what they wanted to believe.
I believe the right like Beck has bought into it, because the left did, and
he's opposed to both.

I think there is a legitimate protest of people who genuinely want democracy,
and the infiltrators, and propaganda are now starting to squash them.

So, it looks like another loss for the possibility of democracy over there.

I bought into part of it myself with ElBaradei, but I finally saw today with the
beating of all the journalists what was really going down.
It's too late now though.

I just still believe Mubarak is a dictator, and has play this ...what looks like perfectly to hold on.

just like with the Lebanese that fought hezbollah , I though it Was a chance.
It seems the political Arabic/Islamic parties are still too strong in those
counties though.

Ok that explains it
you are seriously confused.

Guess you'll just have too wait
to see how this all turns out.

The rest of us have already seen this
movie and know how it ends.

We didn't like it the last time
so we don't care to watch this one either.

Egypt shmee gypt

Death and destruction in foreign lands is always a great way
to distract people here from what is really important.

Heck you can even get the sheeple to believe
it has something to do with triple digit a barrel oil prices.

The stoopid it burns!

personally I multi-task.
I always keep c-span 1&2 on, fox, and cnn periodically.

All tweets, All have been null for the last 30 mins, and an eery quiet in the
square in Egypt atm.

in other news, there's still a war on Our border.
Several more killings in Mexico just today.

Stats came out about two days ago, that None Nada, illegal aliens have left.
Still just as many here as ever.

and of coarse the repeal bill failed in the senate.

Tomorrow is Friday. :headbng2:

Talks between obama admin, and Egypt military now for Mubarak's immediate step down.
maybe good

also talking with MB
maybe bad

I think the calm is the opposition preparing for tomorrow,
and the admin knows it would be a bloodbath.

getting interesting again...

Mubarak messed up beating up on the journalists
