and i could point out several things that marx said that are ideologically aligned with adam smith. so marx was actually a capitalist.

As I've asked in the past....point out where I'm wrong? I understand it. I also can clearly recall the difference between the ultimate goal & the trip there. Not only did marx espouse murder, he also understood that it takes capital to create the base for his ideal. "Let them create it, then we'll steal it" could be a by-line for his book.

that you refer to marx's "book?" which one would that be? he wrote more than a couple, and the one you're likely referring to was the least important thing he ever wrote. whatever you read, your reading of it is terribly coarse. yes, steal, that's the real essence behind his ideas.

Meaningless? What is meaningless about the base descriptor? You can have all the intellectual nuance in the world, but "the sky is blue" is not wrong. I suppose it fits, you seem to find the Constitution old & worn out. However, it took 6 months to write 4 pages, giving the world the best government it had ever had. Contrast that to the 2000+ page healthcare bill.
