Booze...beer, wine, liquor - what tops your list?

#5 - Molson 50
#4 - Nassau Royal Liquor
#3 - Ice Vodka
#2 - Crown Royale
#1 - Pacharan
 
Mmmm, a list after my own heart!

Top Five in Random Order

Vodka
Rum (Cap'n Morgan's spiced, preferrably)
Wine (White Merlot)
Whiskey (Seagram's VO)
Irish Cream

Those are the main drinks, anyway. If you want to know what I mix them with, usually it's a:

Seven UP & VO (or 7 & 7)
Rum & Punch (orange juice, cranberry juice, and a splash of grenadine)
Rum & Coke
Vodka & Cranberry Juice with a squeeze of lime (a personal fave!)
Vodka and Orange Juice
 
Beers/straight alcohol
5. Labatt Blue (hey, fury, you need one, eh?)
4. Goose Island Hexnut Brown Ale
3. Upland Pale Ale (local brewery)
2. Whiskey (cheap - Old Crow; expensive - Jameson Irish Whiskey)
1. Jaggermeister

Mix Drinks
5. Pink Panty Pulldown (vokda, beer, pink lemonade concentrate)
4. Velvet Crush (kool-aid and gin)
3. Whiskey and Coke (whiskey and coke)
2. Irish Car Bomb (1/2 pint of guiness and 1/2 shot of Jameson, 1/2 shot of Baileys...mix the jameson and baileys in a shot glass....drop the shot into the beer and CHUG...the last drink makes it all worthwhile)
1. Gin and Tonic (gin and tonic water)

Always changing, but the hardcore longterm ones are:
  • Beer/Lager (prefer good beers, but hey I'm a student, so whatever really)
  • Vodka&Orange (Screwdriver - never grows old)
  • Whiskey&Coke
  • Single malts neat
  • Bacardi&Coke
  • Vodka&anything.

I'll drink anything really, Beer/Lager mostly tho (due to costs really, tend to drink a lot during term times). Can't stand damn alcopops tho :mad4:.
 
i like pot, but if i decide to drink its either:
beer- killians, rolling rock, amberbock, molson golden, etc.
wine- zinfindels and cabarnets
a margarita on the rocks - no salt. very tart.
straight tequila- no salt, maybe a lime.
 
Ah! Drink! :) My tastes vary from time to time, but lessee which are my current faves.

BEER.

McEwans Export (my staple beer of choice)
Newcastle Brown Ale (for the nights I feel the need to get ratarsed)
Cafferys
John Smiths Bitter
Waggle Dance
Speckled Hen
Bishops Finger (although a mate of mine swears it tastes more like Bishops Toenail)
Guinness
Beamish Irish Stout
Whatever Concoction I'm Brewing Myself

I'm not a big fan of pale beers or lagers.........But either Stella or Miller Light are ok as thirst quenchers.

WINE.

Any red.........particularly Merlot or Cabinet Sauviniogn (sp?)

SPIRITS.

Rum! (yum!!) (Morgans Spiced, Bacardi Gold, Barcardi, Cpt Morgans, Buccaneer......hell, basically any spirit that is brewed from suger cane/sugar beet does me:) ) White rums I mix with fresh fruit juice (whichever juice I have in the fridge at the moment) Dark Rums mixed with Coke.
Vodka. (any brand, it all tastes the same anyway...I usually try to buy the triple distilled brands tho') I'll mix vodka with anything.
Whisky. (Glennmorange.......any good single malt basically) Mixed with mineral/spring water 50/50. Occasionally I'll have a bourbon (Jack Daniels, Jim Beam) with coke.
Brandy. I love brandy, unfortunately it hates me :( (brandy + bleach = Poorly head)

MISC DRINKS.

Anything.............bung it in a bucket and I'll give it a go :) (with the exception of Alcho Pops, waste of time those.)

I worked in bars most or my adult life. Beer is the only one that made it through, although I never say no to a Navy Grog though. The trick is finding a bar that has guava nectar.​

i am trying to remember that nasty crap i drank in denmark.

Yeah tuborg is a danish lager (if I remember right).

Shame yer having a Newky shortage :( The strange thing is that I live just half an hour away from the brewery and I've never been to a pub that has Newky on tap..........yet my friend who lives in Atlanta (US) has a pub with the tap of the delectable dark liquid just a block away from him :eh:

it's delicious on tap, too. so sorry for you. there was another beer i drank in england and denmark and i can't think of it. just as rancid as tuborg...
