I tried to ignore it. I really did. But after all the bruhaha about "why shouldn't they be allowed to get married if they love each other" weepy crap around here & everywhere, I found this quite ironic.

"We were inspired to come here by the sitting President and the vile and vicious and hateful comments he made," the former talk-show host proclaimed after planting a kiss on her longtime love.

"We really did, we got married," O'Donnell said. "This is my brand-new wife."

Wife? I thought she was applicant 2.

Not one word of love or bonding or committment. Yep, it's all downhill from here.

you know, I am all for gay marriage, I am glad it's allowed here, and it's very quickly become a non-issue...I haven't heard any news about it here for eons.

But when I saw Rosie and her wife get up and make that speech, I really was disgusted. I noticed that too, the lack of talk of love and bonding...seemed a publicity stunt to me and nothing more. I wondered at the wife's willingness to go along with it as well. Odd.
