Free the Gingerbread!

I just saw a commercial for a new Glade candle scent, Gingerbread Spice.

The tag line at the end of the commercial states, "Created by nature, captured by Glade."

So, where in nature can you find gingerbread growing wild? Where are the pine scented forests where gingerbread men run free and chase after scantly icinged gingerbread women?

And what about their rights? Glade hitmen bursting unannounced into little gingerbread people homes, carting off the men and women to crush them into candles. What about the poor orphaned gingerbread kids? Sold off as slaves to work for the Keebler Elves in chocolate chip mines no doubt.

I say we petition the government to stop the mistreatment of Gingerbread people worldwide. I for one am boycotting Glade until the wanton destruction of gingerbread houses comes to an end.

Down with Glade and their stupid fucking commercials!!!!

I'm sorry, but I simply cannot support this cause. It's my considered opinion that gingerbread men are creepy, not to mention being rather sassy. The sight of an intricately decorated cookie come to life and running around under its own power, like the experiment of some mad scientist gone awry, gives me the heebie-jeebies. And then there's their mouths... If they were gentle, yet frightened monsters who could say no more than "aaaagh," it would be different. The smart-alecky taunting of their pursuers, though, is enough to enflame the hatred of any decent man. They deserve all the bad things that happen to them. Break their legs! Rip off their gum drop buttons! Death to the Gingerbread Men!

ginger hair rocks *proud owner of semigingerness even tho its mostly brown*

Down with gingerbreadism! We cannot let these gingerbread people change our outlook on life! It is their lot in life to be devoured slowly so real people can savour their nummyliciousness
