Garage Sales!!!

College town are grat for finding free stuff in May and August when leases expire. In my current house, I am using 3 couches (one of which is THE most comfy couch ever), a TV stand, 2 bookshelves, a computer desk, 2 coffee tables, a computer monitor, a bookshelf stereo system, 2 desklamps, a magazine rack, 2 dressers...

total cost: $0. It's a sport, hunting for good stuff.
 
i can count on one hand the pieces of furniture that i actually paid for...lesee...dining room table with 6 chairs (now down to 4...real piece of shit it turns out, i'm still chapped about spending the money on this thing) bought 2 years ago for $100, the bed marlowe sleeps on (daybed and mattress) bought 7 years ago for $175, the girls 2 picec dresser set bought 4 years ago for $80...and that's it...everything else was junk i fixed up or cast offs from relatives or friends.
