I remember one of the first versions of X Windows. You had to draw the window first, then open the app in it. Fucking hard to work with.

yeah, I didn't get into windows untill ver 3.1, and even then
I did most of my work in dos, or another dos app.
I still use dos quite a bit.

PT you can convert them to mpg, or avi.

What do you use to convert them, Virtualdub says it can't, that they are proprietory formats.
