Good luck, Canucks!

With only a few days between the Sept29 launch and the Oct2nd launch...the race after that will be, who can get the ship refitted fast enough for their second launch. Our Canadian team will have to do it in 4 days less...that's one hell of a demand.

I'll be following this one with baited breath. I know that I'll never be able to afford a ride on one of these things, but with any luck...my son might before retirement :D

Good luck to all contestants and above all...a safe flight adn return home to mother Earth.

It's competition ... until you look at the funding. DaVinci was developed almost entirely by volunteers, and with donations. No sugar daddy behind it. And was developed for a tenth the cost of SpaceShipOne. Granted, SpaceShipOne's the one I'd ride given the chance.

and Launch funding .... curtosy of an online casino.

So a corporation that foots the bill is not the same as a group of volunteers (rich volunteers) when it comes to funding? Tsk, tsk, prof. We already know the Canadian team is the underdog, but that statement you made makes it seem like you expect the Canadian team to lose. Hell...You folks might actually pull this off. To be honest, I'm rooting for both teams. Why? Because it puts the business of space in the private sector. ;)
