Breaching the top 1000 can be a real troll. I think the base is up over 15,000 at this point. I think it was only about 8000 when I first crossed it.
 
I would accept a geek title if I were putting any real effort into it. All I did was d/l the root program and let 'er loose. It took no special effort on my part to ramp up the numbers... only patience.
 
I started way back in the day when the top 1000 was easy to achieve with just one computer. Nowadays, most if not all the top 1000 users or so have 2 or more computers (or one computer with dual procs), and it takes three times as long to reach them.

I am inspired, a 1.47Ghz XP machine will be doing genome in normal priority from today along with the 1Ghz Athlon box set to high priority and used solely for genome. :headbang:

Well my genitalia is about a 1/2 inch bigger than yours at least,if i am to believe your thread so you're reallllly underrating yourself ;)
