what's your least favorite vegetable?

mine is brussel sprouts, celery, or those great big peas.
 
asparagus and those other little things that grow under bridges what are like asparagus.

I love 'em all - some are better raw, some are better cooked - and some are better drowned in garlic butter or hollandaise sauce :D
 
Oh, yeah. I also won't touch a beet -- neither fresh nor in a can.

I used to despise broccoli rabe (my father's fave), and still don't love it, but I can tolerate it. I won't go near anything even more bitter, like dandelions. (Some Italian I make.)
 
and they grow under bridges? the only thing that grows under bridge here are the alcoholics.
 
Lima beans make me gag. Don't care for most peas or beans. Okra has to be fried in cornmeal at which point you can get your own skillet full cause this one is mine.

We eat 'em here too, though I've never tried them. I remember seeing a NY Times food column dedicated to fiddleheads some years back.
