Help with my soon to be new hobby?

I am getting ready to put together a killer audio-video center. Can anyone help with a web site to help me make my choices on the components, HDTV and such.

Mufu is somewhat experienced with that, he built a pc just for playing divx, dvds and all that.

What I am looking for is not for my PC. I already have that side taken care of.

I am going to put together a entertainment center for our living room.

I guess what I am asking for is a site like hardwarecentral, except for audio-video equipment.

Mufu did that....with a PC, he even managed to remote controll it.
