I've got a lovely Kenmore dishwarsher from the Sears and Roebuck. They brought it right on out to the house, hooked it up and everything.
 
Dara doesn't generally do dishes. Oh, I suppose she would if I let them pile up long enough, but I can't stand it so I rinse 'em and put 'em in the dishwasher a couple of times a day (or more).
 
I am the dishwasher in this house. sigh.

... and the maid
... and the nurse
... and the chef
... and the tutor
... and the wh... anyways...
 
Well, I'm the same guy that will sometimes go to Wal-Mart to buy new socks if I run out of clean ones...
 
I never let dishes pile up in my batchelor days. I can handle dust and cobwebs... but not biological messes. Dishes go to hell quite fast in the fifth day of the 'presoak'.

Nope. We're both borderline OCD when it comes to being clean. I think that's why we get along so well.

I basically live in the apartment, so I do my share. I've done dishes about every other week, and sometime I'll vacuum and take out trash like any of them.
