how has sesame street changed your life?

I loved Guy Smiley ... and I always swore I'd smack Bert if I ever made it to Sesame Street because he treated Ernie so badly all the time LOL

A couple of years ago my sister and I got into a debate over "3 Is A Magic Number" ... she swore up and down that it was from Sesame Street ... I *knew* it was School House Rock. When I bought the DVD set (yes, I bought it for my kids because I really believe that's why most kids are dumb and numb today and don't know what a 'conjunction' is LOL), she couldn't believe it.

I like Sesame Street. We all thought we spoke Spanish so well back then LOL (wth, I don't remember any French kids on the street ... )

OMG the animation for that one is ADORABLE!! I remember it!
 
I always wondered how Oscar got a swimming pool, an elephant, and other large things to fit in his garbage can.

Remember when Big Bird hit the Big screen? "Follow That Bird"....I actually saw it at the theatre.
 
I remember being a little kid and renting that movie... and the VCR to play it. My family didn't get its own VCR until 1989.
 
Follow That Bird was filmed right near the town my dad worked in. That was SO exciting for me at the time :lol:

Seasme Street has changed my mornings which in turn have changed my life. Thanks to Seasme Street I can get a full hour to shower, get dressed, and make breakfast.
 
I got major "punk rock" points for this back in the day....














This from when I was just a wee tyke (20) and was playin in a punk rock band! We were called M.I.P. (minor in possesion) and I played bass.
