We're fighting this year. Tomatoes looked good, but last months hailstorm shredded everything. Killed the lettuce and spinach. Radishes, onions, chard, zucchini, squash and the herbs were pretty bad, but have begun bouncing back this past week. Tomatoes are still about half what they used to be, and aren't seeing much new growth. We need rain badly, still listed as being in an extreme drought with every day in the 90s and 100s since May.
That said, I've already got two more bed locations flagged for putting in this fall. Just wish I could get a handle on this damn zoysia and bermudagrass.
