Hurrican Charlie.........

No. The news is showing the worst. Most area's are basically untouched. Like any disaster. 97% of the population is shaken, not stirred.

Welcome to Port Charlotte-There's nothing left here to see-now go the hell home...LOL
Actually Englewood is doing great compared to Port Charlotte,Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, Deep Creek,North Fort Myers,North Port...etc....Those ppl got hit so bad -they wont have electric for quite some time, our schools are being used for shelters for those. Our children have off for 2 weeks and thats just for now.....we'll see...just send lots and lots of prayers to all of the families right now...And YES, Puts a whole new perspective on life right now....Im wondering what the heck im gonna do with all this canned meat and PBJ I bought????? I stocked so much for being without electric, water, and etc...I need to go camping to use it all.... :lol2:
:winkkiss: ITS JUST GREAT TO HAVE THE PHONE LINE HOOKED BACK UP...ONLINE AGAIN...

That's good news, Mare . . .

But you need to change your sig line . . . it's too tempting to the Mother . . . she has an odd sense of humor. ;)

Glad you're back Mare....share you spoils-you now see how quickly it can disappear.

Talked to a Ft. Myers cop yesterday (employment verification). She was very happy that I was able to bring her up to date on the condition of her town (no power = no TV or net). She told me that she heated up water for her morning shower by putting pots of it on her black shingle roof.

That pretty much says it all, doncha think?
