i wonder if it costs them more to process,send,etc. the rebate check than the check is worth. I got a $1.52 refund check from school a while back and wondered the same thing. my roommate used to hang stupid checks on our door, he had a suprising number of them, $.94 paychecks, $1 prize checks...
