If you ever read "The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul," there's a 2CV in there that's referred to as "the alleged car." DS's are way cool though.

Always though no one but the French would call a car SM though. Ironically, they were quite comfortable.

I thought the SMs were actually pretty good looking. The DSs look like 50's art deco alien spacecraft. First production car (and one of the few so far) with active suspension though. Have you ever ridden in one? They're amazingly smooth. It's always been one of my favorite cars even though I've never owned one.

Never been inside one. Too put off by the looks. I'd rather be seen in a rusty Gremlin.

I'll dig up a pic when I have more time. They were almost as weird inside as out. Ever see one of the convertibles or one of the station wagons? I knew someone who had a wagon but I've only seen pics of the rag-top.

I went with Desoto also.
I had my major wreck in an Escort, and I like the more heavy duty vehicles now.
Besides, after seeing the way Fonzy souped up that one on Happy Days....
