Dead people on fire hanging from a bridge and dead soldiers being dragged naked through streets.

The terrorists are dead and the soldiers have to pee somewhere.

I'm truly amused by the obvious oversight.

that would be a superb point if the incidents were at all comparable. there's nothing here.

you think i'm a commie so i'll give you my interpretation of both events.

1. abu ghraib. they should have been slicker about it. we know that stuff does (and probably should) go on. but the sloppiness in failing to keep it under the radar - especially these days given the twit-rich environment - was inexcusable. fail. of a technical sort. there would have been a media feeding frenzy regardless of who was in office. can you imagine the shitstorm that would emerge from the right if obama was seen as being associated with something even mildly controversial that went a ways up the chain of command? shit, imagine the correlations between something like that and "obama as arrogant overlord" that would spring up everywhere. (edit - such a thing would be quite amusing, no?)

2. taliban pissing. whatever, a couple formalities and it is forgotten. similar fail to keep it under the radar, but, come on, it's just some guys taking a piss on the most despicable of corpses. as far as i'm concerned, they might as well have sawn off the heads and taken shits on/in the neck stumps. i suspect most god-fearing texans feel similarly.

still, winky, good job serving as her handler. :hippy:

I would direct your attention to the Gunwalker, Fast and Furious thing.
That has all but been swept under the rug, as some say as it should be.

Granted we've all become so accustomed to the left-ward slant of the lamestream media
that pissing and moaning about it only serves to make us look silly.

Perhaps the best thing that could happen to this country would be the reelection of Osama.

At least that way he and the socialists would be getting
all the credit for the continued malaise and ever increasing downward spiral?

ron paul won't get the nomination but i would be tempted to vote for him just to watch the train wreck. he would piss off so many people... to hilarious results.

but romney will get the nomination and i will vote for him. he sucks. he's the teflon dick. but he's okay on economic issues, and i don't really think he'll pay much attention to bullshit moral issues that the dumber on the right seem to love. on their plasma TVs. in the trailer park. (hah)

Perhaps Winky, the problem is, since 1988, we haven't had a conservative to vote for. The (R) insiders want Romneyesque white boys with teflon dicks who speak well, dress nicely & can be seen at the country club...and, most importantly, don't have core beliefs & ethics.

Ronnie spoke conservative, explained what & why he was doing it & the sheeple cheered. Bush called it voodoo economics, Bob Dole was a bore & GW sucked. The only one that truly fills Reagans shoes is an Alaskan woman with a whiny voice. The beltway right & the left are almost finished on the Palin destruction tour. One more movie will sufficiently brainwash the uninformed to thinking she can see Russia from her house.

When I'm hoping lil Rick Santorum gets the nod, it's a damn sad day.
