Ok, I feel the need to step in here. The kid obviously needs something to do. I was the same. Nothing was safe from me. My parents saved themselves by supplying Lego, Mechano, and small motors for my pleasure. I had to have the last motor back together and working before I could move on.

He needs something like this. There's sure to be a tool rental, or small motor repair shop somewhere near you. Go and see if they won't give you a small, broken motor (weed eater motors are great for kids) that he can tear down and work on. Usually they just need stripped down and cleaned. Maybe new bushings. And that will give him the feeling of success that he needs to curb the destructive part of his nature.

Is there a swimming pool or lake or something close by you can use?



Around here it hasnt been too bad. More humid but it does get up there. On vacation was in the 90s most of the time(NC)
