I tend to ingest more of it than I probably should, but that's just because it's so easy and cheap. I can get a 48-pack for $10. Since I have so much, I have a few different things to do to it to keep it interesting.

My favorite way of eating it is to drain the water before adding the seasoning packet. Then occasionally I might add a drained can of mushrooms to 2 cooked packages of ramen. Sometimes I'll add a couple slices of cheese to it, and/or some milk. My favorite flavor is Shrimp flavor, but when this isn't accessible, I prefer Chicken flavor. Contrary to what I would have thought, the Chicken & Mushroom flavor I find every now and then tastes more like mustard flavor than anything else, so I avoid it like the plague.

I once added diced ham to it, and it wasn't too bad, but it didn't inspire me to go out and buy a bunch of ham.

Are you a ramen addict? What do you do with yours?

I only eat the shrimp one. I love eating it with kimchee or bean sprouts or green onions or fish cake ... yum!!

I made two promises to myself as I walked across the stage with my college diploma in hand.

1. Never again do I drink any beer that costs less than $4 per six pack.

2. Never ever EVER again do I even remotely consider eating Ramen noodles.

I love the instant Pad Thai noodles with season packets. Same basic concept as instant ramen.
BTW - SnP, ramen is a form of noodle like spaghetti or vermicelli. It's the instant ramen you banned yourself from, no? Because we buy just the noodles at the asian market and use them in homemade soups and it's very yum.

I vowed never to ingest that 8 for a dollar shit again. It's amazing I'll still eat oatmeal considering how much of it I ate back then.

The man I call Mister loves the pot noodle stuff. And I mean loves it...as in I wake up with that shit in the bed.

We keep the 24 for $4.00 packages around, for old times sake & for the "there's nothing to eat in here" moments. Beef flavor, adding a cube of bouillon to it helps.

I still buy the stuff...more to satisfy my 'instant hunger pangs' than anything else. It beats microwave suppers :p

I throw away the sesaoning packets, and throw the cooked noodles into a stir fry.

or butter and parmisian.

A woman I play Bunco with is famous for a broccilli slaw salad that has the crunched up raw noodles in it along with sunflower seeds and the dressing is a vinagrette made with the seasoning packet. It's rather awesome.

Yes, she does. She is actually quite the eligible bachlorette. A late in middle aged divorced blonde Danish million dollar realtor. Not that she is looking to settle down - she's a party girl.

Just as long as she doesn't go to meetings all is well, all is well, all manner of things is well :D

I'm sure she has business meetings...or are you talking about the old "Sunday, go to meeting" meeting?
