What purpose does that serve? At least admit that those who argue with you might, just might, have come to have the beliefs they do through thoughtful deliberation and consideration of the limited facts available, and then maybe we can have a useful discussion. I at least give you that much credit. Are you so horribly biased that you can't do the same in return?

Actually, flavio, you've both been doing it. The only real problem is that it seems that nobody can prove you wrong in your eyes. You refuse to admit that, sometimes, war is neccesary, and, like the French, give a blanket veto to anything which may require force. The world doesn't work that way, and sometimes you need to use the stick rather than the carrot. While it would be nice to be a complete pacifist, one must remember...A pacifist can survive because soldiers give protection to him/her. Bottom line is, there's always somebody lining up to take somebody elses stuff through guile or through force, and most of those who want to take your stuff don't have guile.

My point was rather simple, but you once again ducked it and shuffled blame to someone else. I've seen YOU more than anyone else on this forum accuse others of being (paraphrasing) mindless drones blindly accepting the propaganda the corrupt Bush administration spoonfeeds them when you don't agree with their opinion. Isn't that your general sentiment? If not, you should stop making that accusation.

Sure, others have disagreed with your opinion, or told you that they thought you were (insert derogatory remark here), but at least they gave you the benefit of doubt that you formed that opinion for yourself based on the information you had absorbed. They at least gave you the benefit of doubt that you had a brain capable of forming such opinions, no matter how crazy they might seem.

You don't even give war-supporters that benefit. Not only do you think we are wrong for agreeing with the war (which is a given, each side thinks the other is wrong in their opinions), but you also think we are too stupid to make decisions for ourselves.
