It looks like we may have just gotten hit again

admitted placing the vehicle on the track.
yet cooperating with police.
para-suicidal tendencies.
Espanol.

Could just be case of stoopid

I just have to say: typical SUV owner....

sorry. ok seriously why did he get out if he was trying to kill himself exactly? Seems like he has a history of this. Why was this guy never medicated after the other events?

"A deranged individual that was suicidal took a vehicle and maneuvered it ... onto the tracks. He intended to take his own life, but changed his mind prior to the train striking his vehicle," Glendale Police Chief Randy Adams said.

it's not really rocket science, is it? the guy changed his mind...and i'm quite sure that when he gets convicted, he'll think a million times why he didn't just stay in the damned car.

and who ever said anything about a terrorist attack, SNP? puhleaze

People fall through the cracks all the time... this guy picked a more extreme method of suicide than most. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people who attempt suicide change their minds half-way...when the thought of death really hits them. People running into emergency wards with wrists cut looking for a band aid. Jumpers screaming on the way down (a bit late at that point),

it's a call for help...most people seriously considering suicide succeed the first time.

catocom implied it in his thread title. If you'll notice, SnP was trying to refute that position.

well i'm terribly sorry about missing that connection with the title, since the contents of the thread didn't have anything to do with a terrorist attack

thanks for pointing it out.
