Nope, South Lakeland council thinks bins are ugly and we live inside the national park so littering is punishable by death.

A green bin is far more attractive me thinks... besides... your circumastance is hardly the norm... you don't have collections because of the terrain... it ain't gonna happen... especially in winter... if you people wanna live at the top of a mountain... thats your thing... but council bin men in an artic' dump truck going up there too once a week... em... no! :p :D
 
Yup :D Although I live on the coast. I think the council just can't be bothered to take all the rubbish away. Either that or finding binmen is difficult.
