Love of Country

It's the timing that I don't get.
6 months after getting married!
There's love of Country and there's love of Family.

I got married last June, and arrived in Baghdad in January. Being seperated from the people you love is one of the hazards of the job. It's also the reason we do what we do...so that our families are safe. There are some who would disagree with the reasoning, but the answer is simple. How many terrorist attacks have occured in North America since we invaded Afghanistan? How many since Iraq? They happen here because we are here. If being bait protects my family, then I'll be more than happy to get on the hook and wiggle.
