That looks damn good. Reminds me of some Guiness stew I had on the ferry from England to Ireland... that was some good shit. I've never had any beef stew that rich over here (it's always some wimpy ass "vegatable soup" or somesuch), and I really miss it.

Why don't you mail me a bowl of it?

But, that beef looks like it has some flavor to it? Obviously you haven't boiled it enough, put that back in the water and boil!

Poutine

This is the food of the Gods here in Quebec.

Take: Fries (chips) and Curd-Cheese, mix together in a pot/bowl and cover with hot (Chicken-a-la-king) sauce...MMMmmmMMM

Heart-attack-in-a-pot

For a twist, add pieces of chicken/hot-dogs/beef strips to the mix

:)

Smother with GRAVY

I discoved a few years ago the french don't have a direct translation for gravy....

Gravy doesn't seem to match the description...s'not thick enough :)

Ever had some Poutine Nixy? Like it :)

All: Just don't mis-pronounce it when you ask for it.

Poo--teeen - the snack above
Poo-tayne - a skanky hooker

:wink2:

Yes, I have had poo-teeeen and I enjoy it greatly.

Here they use gravy

I'm sorry for some reason that just doesn't look appetizing reminds me too much of........well lets not go there.... :sick4:

:D @ ris
