And Indy 3 is IMO better than 1 or 2.
WHAT??? are you serious??? i don't tknow what you saw but INDY 1 was the best and still is.

The Dark Knight > Batman Begins (but only barely so )
Terminator 2 > Terminator (can't wait for the new one)
Resident Evil series (love em all)
Scream series
I"m not a good reference for good and bad movies though. If I like one movie from a series of movies, I'd like to own the whole set, including the bad ones.
The Nightmare on Elm Street movies, for example. The movies get campier, but Robert Englund gets funnier. By the last few movies, you can really see how much fun he has playing Freddy. And I gotta say, I think Wes Craven's New Nightmare was one of the best.
