Here are some interesting questions to answer before granting any status to the Gitmo detainees...


1. Did they have, at any point, a chain of command (rank structure)?

2. Did they have, at any time, a uniform or or some sort of fixed or distinctive sign?

3. Did they carry their arms (weapons) openly?

4. Did they conduct their operations in accordance with the laws and customs of war?
