"Oh...ugh oh...oh...oh man, I thought the sign said Homestyle Perversity, my mistake"

Brian J. Doyle, 55, was arrested at his residence in Maryland on charges of use of a computer to seduce a child and transmission of harmful material to a minor. The charges were issued out of Polk County, Fla.

Doyle, of Silver Spring, Md., had a sexually explicit conversation with what he believed was a 14-year-old girl whose profile he saw on the Internet on March 14, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said in a statement.

The girl was really an undercover Polk County Sheriff's Computer Crimes detective, the sheriff's office said.

Doyle sent pornographic movie clips and had sexually explicit conversations via the Internet, the statement said.

During other online conversations, Doyle revealed his name, that he worked for the Homeland Security Department, and offered his office and government issued cell phone numbers, the sheriff's office said.

He won't and can't but it certainly is.

Also this is definitely a 'victimless' crime!

You know, who's to say WHAT the people in Pretoria are getting up to. It's a bit far north of the boerewors curtain for my liking ;)

Courts have consistently ruled that activity such as this is NOT entrapment. Just as a cop on the roadside behind an obstacle with a radar gun is not entrapment. Unless it can be proven that the undercover officer induced illegal activity that would otherwise not likely have occurred, these operations are legal. They're damn effective too.

Cops lie as part of their job when they have to. Undercover agents' lives depend on it. The line is drawn at the threshold of the cop doing anything illegal, or at the point of inducing activities that would jeopardize the operation.

Every predatory pervert creep scumbag worthless piece of dryer lint they can apprehend...that's one less out there hurting a kid.

the thing about him sending a picture of himself wearing his homeland security badge and vigorously self-identifying to the little chicky makes this entire thing somewhat suspicious.

Pigs taste good :licklips: ;)

I once bought an old girlfriend of mine a magnet that had a cartoon of a pig on it, and it said: "Men aren't pigs. Pigs are caring, sensitive, intelligent animals."

MIAMI - A deputy press secretary for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was charged with using a computer to seduce a child after authorities said he struck up sexual conversations with an undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl.
Just in case you missed it while speed reading.

I wonder if his own people were part of the arrest.:finger:

I don't give a flying rat's ass if he was the third string substitute water boy at Elbow State. If he's preying on kids he needs to be punished.

Not likely...this is part of a criminal investigation, not a security issue

but he DID nothing!

and there wasn't any Kid involved!

This is right inline with guys going to jail longer
than murderers for having pixels on their computers.
