I kinda resent that. It amazes how somthing simple seems to be so hard to grasp.
Think of it like a battle. Strategically whom ever is better armed and trained wins.
I dont know about you guys...but personally Id prefer to innocent responsbile citizens to triumph over the murderous criminals...but thats just me.
Arm the innocent and the guilty will flee/cease.
Edit:
Dont get me wrong. It may be difficult to tell but I really respect (and agree with !) Bishops ideals. Hell yea that would be nice!
However I worry because the eutopian/idealistic view of the world is a "bit of a fantasy land".
No way in hell criminals are going to suddenly take their ball and go home because of a gun ban. They will still get them and if they cant..the will find another way.
I worry because if Bishop were attack (not taking his bow into account). The assailant would likely cram his ideas so far down his throat they would come out his ass. He would be killed and so would his family.
The only thing that would stop such an attack would be the proper weapon, heightened awarness, lightning speed reaction, and precision delivery.
There is no point in arguing with this because it is virtually indisputable.
Saying "wait you cant attack me, I dont believe in guns" would not work...
shooting him would
...and he would live another day to watch his child grow up. More importantly, his child would have a chance to grow up.
Period end of discussion......
