I don't remember the popular name for this law, and I can't seem to find a link about it (would help if I could remember the name, eh? ).
Essentially, California passed a law that prohibits acts/choices for which there is evidence of it being harmful to the environment. I wish I could remember the specifics, but I was driving at the time when I heard it on NPR and had a dozen other things on my mind.
About the only thing I remember for certain was the particular thought I had as they were describing the law... "whoa, that could be really far reaching!"
I thought it deserved some discussion. Unfortunately, I can't remember what we're supposed to discuss. Hopefully someone paid more attention than I did and can fish out a link for us.
