What I ended up disliking about the plasmas & LCDs was the 720p maximum. 1080p would would be ideal (though nobody broadcasts in it yet) but I like 1080i.

It goes to 11.

Mine's an LCD and it's capable of 1080i.

I just picked up the Hitachi 51f59 HDTV projection CRT. I'd wait until the week before or the day after X-mas. The killer deals will be back.

Projection and CRT are mutually exclusive. Your TV can't be both.

Normally I agree. This seems to be slightly different technology. It doesn't use the old bulb type projection.
