Obama delays Cole trials

It seems that the anointed one has seen fit to deny justice to those killed on the U.S.S. Cole by delaying the ongoing trial of the ringleader. Obama is definitely in over his head. Even Biden says that the democrats will suffer from a backlash in 2010.

As the Commander who was at the helm of the Cole on that day says "Just delayed is justice denied."

And he is being shunned by one of the Cole mothers who actually voted for him and now wishes she hadn't.

Had to be delayed so it could be hamdled correctly. Not really a big problem.

Feel free to get all alarmist about it though. it's kinda funny.

What the hell does that saying mean anyway? It never made sense to me.

re-charged later...when, after he has been released from prison & flown to the country of his choice from which he'll disappear?

Great plan.

Ah, see but that is your made up fantasy and does not resemble reality.

Casting pearls before swine - it's a nice gesture but is worthless for the person receiving the gift. In other words... it's media's attempt at making a big deal out of a small deal.

Crawford dismissed the charges against al-Nashiri without prejudice. That means new charges can be brought again later. He will remain in prison for the time being

The guy remains in jail until such time as it's decided whether he's going to be tried on US soil or sent to some other country to face trial

In jail until he's let out by Obama's order to evacuate Gitmo.

Then he'll be in jail again.

Hey Gonz, they're not just going to open the doors and let everyone go. I imagine someone tried to scare you with something like that and you fell for it though.

I think the idea is to conduct trials and figure out who should be locked up and who shouldn't.

Just like they're common criminals? Doesn't that mean we have to charge them or release them within 72 hours?

Nope. Maybe you should look into this a little more before you form opinions. Seems like you're missing a lot of basic information.
