there's no disputing that socialism slows down an economy, under normal circumstances. on occasion, government involvement spurs huge amounts of productivity. we did not become socialists during WW2 did we?
It seems to me that I've repeatedly said that during war, some rules need to be overlooked. They will be fixed (always have been) after hostilities end.
