He lives in Canada but he lives in Quebec in Canada. That province has tried to leave this country more often than Elvis has been spotted at a roadside cafe!
 
Only recently, getting any beer brewed outside quebec meant a trip to the liquor shop. And their selection was severely limited. Now we can get a more varied selection at the local depanneur, but Moose is still not available. Alexander Keith's is, tho. But that's still a lager, and I'd rather an ale.

BTW last time I checked, you can't get Moosehead Ale in Ontario either. The closest place I can hook up is Edmundston, NB.
 
Hey! I will be driving through Edmunston in a few weeks! I am also driving through Quebec to get to NFLD, Prof and I are going to be VERY close to each other!
