OMFG!

Can I ask you to clarify what you are saying, please (re: sex-value)? I think I agree with you, but I'm not sure. :eh:

That sex(uality) is an open market at any age and sexuality is OK to promote, sex Sex Sex and this father shouldn't be mad, he should be happy that this little has pr0n.

Ok.
I'm sure she was more traumatised by the sex than the songs about drugs, but ok.

Oh I agree with you on that BoP, I just don't want to debate it really. My view on sex is far more complex than most of my views, but at the same time, I have no interest at all in debating it. I am the victim of emotional incest though and it fucked me up big time is all and I will forever have to deal with that mindfuck. If you want to know what happned to me, feel free to ask publicly and when I have time I'll explain in detail, but as for my views now, well even I am not fully comfortable with them.

I can tell you though that I am a man who CAN NOT bring myself to physically touch a woman in a sexual way without prior knowledge that it's ok to do so. That is one of the few benefits of the "emotional incest". I am nothing if not a gentleman, and totally harmless sexually, unless you want some of it, then it's on!

I just noticed something... he bought it at the Wal-Mart in Sparta. The kid should be tougher than that. No one cries there!

THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I have yet to read, here, where anyone has broached the most obvious question of all:

Did the father place these images on the unit so he could have a case against the deep pockets of a major corporation?

And then, of course, there was this ...

Girl Gets Bizarre Note Instead of iPod
Friday, December 28, 2007

A little girl who thought she was getting an iPod for Christmas ended up getting a rude surprise — the iPod had been replaced with a bizarre note.

The note reads in part "Reclaim your mind from the media shackles."

Click here for more on this story from MyFOXDC.com

Jay Ellis, the girls father, returned the iPod to the Wal-Mart store where he purchased it. The store manger told him that another customer returned an iPod with a similar issue.

MyFoxDC attempted to reach Apple for a comment, but got no response.

Re: And then, of course, there was this ...

oh wow, the note-in-the-ipod-box thing happened kinda near me!

i have nothing to say to the rest, except that if the girl was distressed, she was distressed... it doesn't matter that if she should know what all that is or not... that is completely bullshit rhetoric.

Re: And then, of course, there was this ...

and i do think walmart should be held acountable.... especially if what the man said about it being against walmarts own policy to sell used merch as new is true.

Depends on the date/time stamp on the files. I don't think this is something you sue over, though. This is only worthy of an exchange.

When we take back a unit on return we always ask "Is the unit defective in any way?" If they answer in the affirmative then we answer "Yes" to the prompt and a defect slip is immediatly spit out of the printer. After the transaction, we are required to fill out the defect slip and send the unit to the claims dept.

If, however, they answer that the unit is not defective, we can return the item to the department from which it came. It will be inspected and returned to stock.

I have no idea how far they take the inspection of iPods. It will be something interesting to find out.

Exactly! I hadn't even considered that because I was so caught up in my outrage the minute I read the word l-a-w-y-e-r!

You know though, I bet that is exactly what happened and he ought to be prosecuted as a sex offender if that can be proven!

i think the non-monetary damage is what the suit is for, though. if this happened to my daughter, i'd do the same. i wouldn't be like, "oh walmart, you kidder!" and then go on my merry way as though my 10 year old daughter hadn't been exposed, by the active fault of another entity, to something that disturbed her. the badguy here was more accurately the person who bought the ipod originally, loaded it with the porn, and returned it, but if walmart's policies allow this kind of thing to occur, then it's not ok, it's an issue, and walmart should pay.

I'ld let Walmart knwo about it, firmly. but I certainly wouldn't sue 'em or even mention it with out a good reason.

I would however get my kids past it in a very short period and foolow up wit' it

Re: And then, of course, there was this ...

Yep.

I've returned things because thery sucked. They weren't broken, they weren't defective ('cept in the original engineering design) & they were okay to re-sell. Which is why I never even considered jimpeels possibility. It is a fundamental flaw in Wal-Marts policy (kinda like every adult getting a vote).

They can not vote. But after completing the sentence, probation and pay all fines in full, most if not all, are eligible for reinstatement of their right to vote and bear arms.

I know because I committed the lowest class of felony one time and got caught (years ago). I can now vote and bear arms again....whooptie do! The right to bear arms should be removed from violent felons, but I personally think the right to vote should only be taken from prisoners.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I hadn't planned on asking if there were felonies you didn't get busted for. But now that you bring it up, I'm curious.

Kidnapping would be the worst. I have no idea what degree the assaults would be classed, but I am pretty sure all but one would be 4th (misdemeanor), but I know one could have been first degree (the name for attempted murder in my state, though I knew what I was doing with the baseball bat and had no intention of doing more than teaching him a lesson!), and as far as time in prison, delivery or perhaps conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine.

If you counted the assaults that were even potentially ones that I woulda got charged with if I was caught I am 99% sure you could count them on one hand. I am NOT one who enjoys fighting but I was hit enough as a kid to make it second nature as a response to rage. I had to do a LOT of work on myself to tame that. I still have more to do, because the biggest reason I snap (yes I am a "snapper") is because of my Bipolar disorder. Bipolars, so far as I know are mostly all "snappers".

Does that satisfy chief?!?

J/K, I wasn't that offended when you called me that, but in general when someone does it in person, I just wanna slap the taste from their mouth.
