ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Orlando Police have responded to several shootings at an office building in downtown Orlando.

Eight people have been shot, two of them fatally.

The Orange County SWAT team is searching the building looking for a suspect described as wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

The Orlando Fire Department said the victims were transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Several officers have responded to 1000 Legion Place. The building houses the following businesses:

ORLANDO, Fla. - One person was killed and at least seven others were wounded in a shooting incident inside a downtown Orlando high-rise building Friday morning, authorities said. The building was described as not yet secure, and the suspect was still on the loose.

Quoting emergency dispatchers, NBC station WESH-TV of Orlando reported that the incident began about 11:30 a.m. ET on the fourth floor of the Gateway Center at 1000 Legion Place near Lake Ivanhoe.

All patients were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Some of the patients were reported to be in “extremely critical” condition.

A single gunshot has been heard where the suspect’s vehicle was found- Hollowbrook Apartments on Curry Ford Rd in Orlando.

Sounds like it’s over- scanner is starting to call off roadblocks etc..
