yep, like everything else the meaning of the word love has been distorted
to something unrecognizable, and dirty in many cases.

my understanding is that the dude you call jesus meant love in the sense of compassion more than anything else.

i believe there was also some value placed on a sense of humor...
 
yep compassion, and passion, but not in a sexual sense.

sex does have it's place, and is way better when in righteousness, but I won't
go into that here. ;)
I've probably already said too much with that.

They would argue that they do know your/their god and that what they speak is the true word.

That's the problem with religion. Everyone thinks they know what the deity means/says and when it contradicts the other guy, well the other guy is just wrong. :shrug:

Meh... I just usually walk away unaffected. :)
