What if Electoral College Elects Sarah Palin to Presidency?

What if the U.S. Supreme Court accepts the case of Leo C. Donofrio against Nina Wells, the secretary of state in New Jersey, and rules that Barack Obama is not a natural-born citizen as he must be according to the U.S. Constitution in order to qualify for the presidency?

Would electors at the meeting of the Electoral College simply ignore Barack Obama and choose a president and vice president from among Joe Biden, John McCain, and Sarah Palin on December 15?

a) I don't trust any news site that has "putting McCain out in the cold - where he belongs" in it, since it's obviously completely biased.

b) This could be an interesting case, if they take it. 2 or 3 of the current justices are expected to retire within the next few years, and will have their successors appointed by the president. Obviously, they have a stake in who becomes president. But will they dispose the elected president over something trivial? I doubt it. There would be massive public outcry. Waaay worse than the last idiotic ruling, Kelo v. New London.

Why the hell do you think everything is about race? There's been schools named after other presidents, celebrities, and all sorts of people. Nothing about it that's "treating him like a god".

Hello? Not really. Previously schools, thoroughfares, buildings, and warships have been named in honor of someone after they've actually done something. :shrug: What exactly has he accomplished?

We're expected to forget that he has known ties to terrorists, and to a corrupt far left political organization. His abortion views equal infanticide. He attended an anti-American racist church for 20 years. He ignores requests for proof of his country of origin. Talk about a thin resume: Obama went from community organizer to 143 days in the Senate to president-elect of the United States. And yet, none of this matters. Should the chant be "Oh-Bah-Muh" instead of "U-S-A?" When race trumps everything character and ideology don't have a chance.

Let the issues be the issue:

The economy is going to dry up and blow anyway under the messiah. His accomplishment? Years from now those that attended that school in NY can tell their grandchildren that the building was named after the person that brought Socialism to this country and caused the Second Great Depression.

Ask yourself this. If he were not a black man would there be all this whining and gnashing of teeth? I am completely unable to convince myself so. He's the first black president elect, I think we can reasonably expect more things like this. As you point out it has nothing to do with "treating him like a god" but it's displaying ostrich-like behavior to try to convince yourself that race isn't involved.
