Disaster
The CBC reports that a major earthquake, measuring 9.1 on the Richter scale
has hit Pakistan this
morning. 350,000 Pakistanis are missing, and over a million have been
injured.
The country is in ruins and the government doesn`t know where to start with
providing what little
help it can.
The outside world is in shock and is responding by sending aid:
Australia is sending Medical teams, water purification equipment and Tents.
New Zealand is sending Elite Rescue and Search teams.
The UK is sending troops to assist the country.
The USA is sending food, medical aid and money.
Canada is sending 335,000 replacement Pakistanis.
