I doubt it's big news to them and they are still wealthy celebrity children of privilege. There is a lot more to life than financial success. Perhaps they aren't the simple snotty bitches the media portrays them as. Since none of us knows them, is it fair for us to judge? Perhaps wealth isn't all they care about? Not saying that's the case, but it's a non story!

You can believe it or not but I wouldn't care to be rich. I'd love to win a lottery, but I'd just buy a lot of things I want, then some I need, then more I want, and go back to my simple existence. Wealth doesn't mean a damn thing to me. I have literally dropped bills out of moving cars many times to prove that point to many of my friends that are obsessed with that evil green paper. I have even put unscratched lottery tickets inside random mailboxes. A lot of people in Port Townsend who didn't have a car at least found bus money on occasion.

The thing is once you give up the love of money (and in my case learn to live right by god), you find that you don't have to chase it. Money starts looking for you. It's true, though I know few will believe it.

Ha. Nikki might have a chance of earning her own with her clothing line, but the only music/tv anything that Paris had a hance of any revenue with was her sex video.

I think is serves them right. Paris has been a spoiled little brat her entire life and might have to take a dose of the real world now.
 
I love how people theorize and pontificate about others they really know nothing about. Paris is just a person, like you me or any other, the only difference is the silver spoon that was in her mouth when she was born.

Trouble is, not one of you knows a god damn thing, about who Paris actually is as a person, what her talents are, and what she is capable of, outside of what you see on TV or read in Tabloids, and I am quite sure the real deal is much different than the portrayal you've all seen. I have no idea, what or who she really is, but I guaranfuckintee, it's not what you get spoonfed by the media.

I like dumb blond jokes just fine, and dumb rich stupid child of privilege jokes about Paris Hilton, may be hilarious as well, but to assume you "know anything" about any figure in the mass media market because of what you read their, and wish bad things upon them based on that is just ludicrous, childish, and naive.

IMHO, she's probably a dumb cunt that could probably benefit from ending up addicted, and selling her ass in Tijuana, for a while for crack, to learn to become a whole person, and then finding recovery to become an awesome individual. Still that's nothing more than a SLIGHTLY, somewhat educated WILD guess about someone I know NOTHING about really. Top that off with that since I don't know her it's none of my god damn business in the first place, and it's rude of me to speak ill of someone I don't know at all anyway.[/mounting soapbox]
 
mark, my feeling on the subject is that people think of paris in the way she publically presents herself.

if i'm a celebrity and i act like a total bitch all the time, and on some message board, people go "omg, that ash r, she's a total bitch"... i'd think it silly if someone got all OMG STOP CALLING ASH R A BITCH u gais, u SO dont no wat she is rilly lyke!

if she wants people to think of her as anything other than a "simple snotty bitch", as you say... well, it's not like we arrived at this feeling completely independently of anything she herself has done.

That's not the point at all ash. To understand why I say this, you must first understand that I am 100% totally unimpressed with "celebrity" at all, EVER! I do have my heroes and celebrities I's love to meet and converse with, but I am not about to go to great lengths to try and make it happen. I've pretty much always been that way. All a celebrity is, is an average person, who either has a talent of some kind that is marketable, or is born into privilege like Paris was.

The counterpoint to that is that I also, have no idea, what it's like to be in her shoes, so I have no right to talk shit about her. It's immature to do so. I'll swap Paris jokes all day if they are funny, but I am not gonna talk shit as if I knew something, when clearly I don't.

I also am not going to wish her ill no matter what my perception of who she is and what it must be like to be Paris. There's no jealousy, no hatred, just that if she is all you guys seem to think she is, then what I really feel is empathy for her and the hope that she will learn to make it better for herself in the future.

Interestingly, the other day I got this wild idea about this hot porn babe I saw in a porno recently (yes guys watch it and when they can no matter what they say, and the small percentage who don't are mostly liars). So I found her myspace page and fired off a letter to the effect of; "Hey, you fascinate me and I'd like to converse via email if your game". I was 100% honest, that I think she's hot, I'd do her in a heartbeat given the chance, and I made no value judgment on what she does for a living.

I was pretty shocked that she wrote back, and I am myspace "friends" with her now! I am not that "impressed" with the whole affair so far, but I hope to understand her a bit and try and get to know her better, as just a friend with an exceptionally odd career. So far all I really know it's decent money, short hours and often really good sex which she quite enjoys. I personally don't see any problem with that at all, but If I did I wouldn't tell her about it, unless I believed she was hurting herself needlessly.

I really have no idea what kind of life she had that lead her to it all, but I do know she has a positive outlook on life, has no time for negativity and phoniness, and seems to quite a nice girl, but I wouldn't know jack if I hadn't just asked!
